Is Matthew Stafford going to throw 50 times in each game this year? It certainly could happen when you look at the run game in Detroit. No real help was brought in or drafted over the off season, so look for Detroit to air it out most games this year. Stafford is quite capable but putting this much pressure on the passing game can be challenge. Calvin Johnson, arguably the best WR in the NFC will continue to be the main target downfield but he’ll need some support to beat the inevitable double teams he will face all year. The defense can be summed up with one name – Ndamukong Suh. Nasty, tough and undisciplined all come to mind. When committed, they can be a formidable opponent for any offense. CB could be problematic with the loss of Eric Wright to Tampa Bay in the offseason.
