Norv Turner continues his tenure in San Diego hoping for better and more consistent results in 2012. Slow starts have haunted this team for several years resulting in the team scrambling over the last 4 or 5 games to attempt to get into the playoff picture. Its critical that change in 2012 and the Chargers get out of the game quickly in a division that features Peyton Manning and the Broncos. Phillip Rivers continues to show flashes of brilliance yet lacks consistency which keeps him from being mentioned with the league’s elite quarterback. Antonio Gates is as good as it gets at TE and provides Rivers a solid target, especially in the red zone. WR is a mixed bag for this team and provides a real opportunity for someone to step up and be the number 1 guy. Ryan Matthews and Ronnie Brown provide depth and flexibility at the RB position. If the Bolts get off to another slow start, look for changes if not during the season immediately following.
